Today's Iftar and Doa Mahfil was organized by the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB), Dhaka Metropolitan North Branch, to pray for the release and good health of the country's leader Begum Khaleda Zia.

Mr. Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, Honorable Member of the Standing Committee of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), was present as the chief guest.

The program was presided over by Dhaka Metropolitan North DAB President Dr. Sarkar Mahbub Ahmed Shamim and conducted by General Secretary Dr. SM Masum Billah. BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, BNP Chairperson's Advisor Professor Dr. Farhad Halim Doner, DAB President Professor Dr. Harun Al Rashid, Secretary General Dr. Abdus Salam, Jubo Dal General Secretary Sultan Salahuddin Tuku, Dhaka Metropolitan North BNP Member Secretary Md. Aminul Haque, Senior Vice President Dr. Parvez Reza Kakon, Chhatra Dal Central President Kazi Rawonkul Islam Shrawan, and more than six hundred leaders and activists from various levels.
