A prayer mahfil was held at the initiative of the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB) BIRDEM branch to pray for the recovery and well-being of BNP Chairperson and former 3-time successful Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.

The prayer mahfil was attended by— Central DAB Secretary General Dr. Jahirul Islam Shakil as the chief guest; Central DAB Senior Vice President Professor Dr. Abul Kenan as the special guest; Central DAB Vice President and BNP Central Executive Committee Health Affairs Assistant Secretary Dr. Parvez Reza Kakon. The president was— BIRDEM DAB President Dr. Amirul Islam Pavel; the moderator was BIRDEM DAB General Secretary Dr. Mozammel Haque Nahid.
